Here are all the valuable things I got for my desk makeover and organization in this small corner of my dorm room

I have this small corner in my dorm room but surprisingly, I was able to make it. Here are all the things that I got for my desk organization and my desk setup in general.
Desk Pad
The first thing I knew I wanted was a desk pad, so this is literally a simple white one. There were so many colors on Amazon but I thought I would keep it minimal and simple.
I love having this mat, this was such a good idea. The mouse moves really nicely on it.
I have my Nintendo switch as well as the controller because I play a lot, it’s really handy to have the right there and then in this stand. It is great because I do have extra space to put things underneath.
Contact Paper
So, I got a beige contact paper that I’m going to put over my desk.
I wanted my desk itself to have a wood finish instead of a white one. Personally, I feel like that’s too modern for my taste.
I have my desk all built up with the contact paper and I’m going to work on the bookcase as well.
Eucalyptus Plant
I also got this really cute plant. It’s a faux eucalyptus plant.
I had a planter from urban outfitters and I never really knew what to do with it I just knew it was cute.
So now, I finally have a purpose for it. This one I’m going to hang this one on my wall.
I change my flower bases a lot, I don’t always keep them here and the flowers are also changing every single week but I think flowers are a really great way to elevate any area, including plants.
Cable Organizer
I also got this bamboo lid bin.
Essentially, this is where the extension cord will lay so it’s not seen and visible.
It looks a lot nicer and you can literally put in extra cords that you need, there’s so much space in here.
Acrylic Stand
I also got this acrylic stand for my iMac. It’s the 2021 24-inch pink iMac and it fits perfectly in here.
I am absolutely obsessed.
My favorite thing about this is that it’s honestly simple, there’s not too much going on and it’s super functional.
Wooden Thumbtacks
I have some art pieces that I want to hang up above in the wall space.
I got these wooden thumbtacks and they’re so much cuter than the clear plastic ones.
Corner Shelf
I have my shelf all built up in the corner.
I absolutely love the idea of a corner-like bookshelf thing! I think it opens up the room more and makes it feel a bit cozier.
The 5-tier shelf has things that make me happy and I’m obsessed with the way everything has turned.
Desk
With this, I’m able to go as high and then stand and work, so I’m obsessed with having a standing desk.
This was half the price of the flexi spot ones. I absolutely recommend this one, it is high quality.
I spend so much time on my computer because I work from home.
After setting everything up, I knew it would take me time sitting, working, and living life for a few days to figure out exactly how I want things to be arranged.
I’m constantly on the computer and having and investing a cozy desk set up like this was so important to me. I also did it on a budget. You too can do this, so doable to have a cute area like this.
