What’s up guys? Today we are doing a review on the Lapgear 45492 deluxe computer lap desk; and this is just basically some place to set your laptop when you’re in a chair or on bed. I got mine because I was sick of my legs heating up and trying to use a pillow and trying to figure out what I needed to do.

So, this Lapgear works really well! It’s very portable, got a nice handle so if you want to carry it, you can just pick it up. It’s pretty light, maybe weighs a pound or pound a half. It has got a left-handed mouse and a right-handed mouse which is good for the ambidextrous amongst us. If you don’t use a mouse with your laptop, then the extra space can be used for your phone, etc. You get a nice raised wrist rest and then if you flip it over on the back, you’ve got two zipper pockets with Velcro detachments. They stay on the Velcro on one side; good to put mouse, your dongle, any headphones, and any other kind of accessories you want.
The ergonomic wrist pad makes typing comfortable and keeps your laptop from sliding. Also built In Wrist Rest provides a mobile desk for reading and writing. So when I’m sitting in bed with my laptop set-up and legs straight out I feel very comfortable. It’s got the back-to-front viewing angle with those beanbags underneath so it makes a very pleasurable viewing experience, very user-friendly, ergonomic. It keeps the heat off your inner thighs and your other parts of your body. You still have access to the Velcro under pockets with the zippers, if you want to get your mouse or whatever – you can do that without having to take your laptop off.
Question: Will a 17 inch laptop fit comfortably?
Answer: Yes it will. A 17″ laptop fits with the wireless mouse comfortably.
Question: Does this lap desk allow airflow under the laptop? Does it assist in keeping your laptop cooler?
Answer: There’s plenty of cushion on this lap desk – front and rear cushions allows air to flow under the lap desk. This keeps your lap from getting overheated!
If you’re gonna be on your computer, sitting on the chair, it’s probably not a bad idea to have this – make your life a little easier. Whatever your needs, this LapDesk has got you covered. The additional benefit of having it is it makes a great serving tray for appetizers or breakfast in bed.
