The Farberware Countertop Dishwasher
Now, maybe you don’t have a dishwasher. Maybe you live in an efficiency apartment or dorm room where it just was never part of the equation. Maybe you have a camper or an RV. We’ve got a professional countertop portable dishwasher from a great brand called Farberware. This is a brand-new item today –We’re talking being able to wash your dishes, your plastics, your silverware, whatever the case may be. You can drain it right into your sink and either add the water yourself or you can connect it to your faucet.
We have put together a great review to give us all of the ins and outs of how this works and how to load it.
The Farberware countertop dishwasher has all the power of your big in-home dishwashers but, it’s completely portable so you can take it or put it anywhere you want. Best of all, no installation and no plumbing required. Now, just like an ordinary big in-home dishwasher, you’re going to take your dirty plates, scrape of the excess food and then you’re going to load the rack. Now, you can see although this is compact, I have plates, cups, glasses, and silverware. You can really pack a lot in this rack.
Once you’re done loading the rack, simply push it into the machine. On the door there’s a little basin that’s where you’re going to put your detergent. Now, I recommend using the liquid detergent. Once you’ve filled up the basin for the detergent, all you do is close the door. Now, you just simple need water. There are 2 options, you get a hose that comes with it that you can attach directly to a spigot into the back of the machine or you can simply fill up the basin on top. It takes less than one and a half gallons of water to complete a cycle and the thing I love about it is when you’re filling up the basin on the top with the pitcher, there’s a little beep – just like that, which will going to tell you when you filled it up.

Now once it’s filled with water, next thing to do is select the wash cycle. On the front of the machine we have a touch screen. Because we did dirty dishes here, we’re going to select a normal cycle and then all we’re going to do is hit the start button; from there the machine will turn on. After about a minute, you’ll immediately see all the water starting to circulate around the plates; that means the wash cycle has begun. On the bottom of the screen you’ll see a timer that shows you how much time is left in the cycle and even a water temperature which will increase gradually as the cycle goes throughout to make sure you’re getting all the grease and dirt off your plates.
Now, when the machine is finished, it will actually beep for eight seconds letting you know that the wash cycle is complete. All you have to do – open it up, let the plates cool off a little bit and take a look inside, that dirty plate we started with – clean and ready to go just like if you pit in a big in-home dishwasher because this does the same thing but the best part about this is it’s portable. You can put it anywhere or take it anywhere without any installation or plumbing and have your own dishwasher wherever you want it.
It’s really incredible technology and no matter where you are you’ve got a dishwasher so if you are going to be camping in your RV, if you’re going to be travelling, if you’re in a small efficiency apartment, or even if you’ve got a big kitchen but just could use some extra washing room – they’ve got if for you.
Can you do baby items or baby bottles in here? You bet you can. Whether you’re doing regular stoneware plates, porcelain, or plastic, whatever you have, it all does the job.
I have a big in-home dishwasher, but this thing is really the same power and cleaning ability as that big dishwasher but it’s portable. If you have somebody that has a small efficiency apartment or dorm room, if you have an RV, you can plug it in anywhere and I love that it takes less than a gallon and half of water so you just have to either add the water in the top, there’s a hose that comes with it so if you’re at a camping ground you can connect it tight to a spigot of a hose. The best part is how compact it is.
You can’t believe how much you can fit inside of this and all of it gets that thorough washed and the great thing is there’s three different settings. There’s a full wash cycle which is about two hours, that’s when the plates are really dirty which I did here. There’s a rapid wash if you’re in a hurry, that’s only forty minutes that will you save the rinse cycle so it’s just a quick forty-minute wash.
There’s also a baby part which I think you have on set there. I know when my children were much younger, we always have those baby bottles we didn’t really love putting them in the dishwasher and we had to wait for the dishwasher to be full. This could be your dedicated baby washer or when you have on of those parties and you have all that stemware that you can’t quite get into the dishwasher, put your fine stemware, and use this just for glassware. It’s got those settings for you, it’s just like an in-home dishwasher. You fill it, put the detergent, turn it on and walk away.
There’s a little area for the detergent and we use either liquid or powder detergent – Now, they recommend liquid or powder that’s already dissolved because the pre-made tablets that are kind of wrapped they tend to not dissolve as easily so we recommend first liquid. All you have to do is put a little bit in there and shut the door. Then on the front you turn the machine on if it’s not on already and we’re going to select your wash cycle.

It takes a less than a gallon and a half, but the great thing is as you’re adding the water, you don’t even have to measure it because the machine will beep for you automatically and tell you that it’s full. That’s what I love about it like if you lose track how much you’re pouring in there, the machine says, “I’m full, stop pouring” and it beeps for you.
Once you select start on the cycle, about a minute later it’ll turn so you have to actually select the cycle after its full and then it’ll turn on automatically and start powering down.
The timer will start, and the machine will turn on. You notice there’s this plastic basket that comes with the machine. You say, “What is that basket?”. Well, guess what, there is a cycle on here without any detergent where you can put your hard fruits and vegetables – like potatoes and apples. I know in this day and age; we’re trying to be clean as possible even with our produce from the store. It runs for 20 minutes just washing with water so I’m going to take these potatoes, put them in the machine, let the cycle for 20 minutes and I know my potatoes will be rinsed and ready for cooking.
Is there a drying cycle inside or does this air dry?
Yes, there is. So, the full cycle will dry and it’s lightly heated and there’s actually and air refresh button that’s going to circulate the air through. When you’re done with this, plates are completely dry.

This is really smart technology, compact, and portable and take with you on the go. Don’t miss out on this opportunity.
